A treble bleed is a totally different animal thru a old cranked fender than a modern preamp generated distortion amp. Anyways, i like treble bleeds. In fact, i can't live without them. But what a lot of people who condemn them don't understand is that a treble bleed is not just one certain thing anymore than all 12ax7s or all el34's are the same.
